Disclaimer: I soo don't own The Chronicles of Narnia. I soo wish I did.
Edmund stumbled through the wardrobe. The first thing he noticed was the cold. Then he began to be aware of his surroundings.
He was in a pine forest covered in a white blanket of snow.
Edmund was astounded. All he had done was follow his younger sister, Lucy, through the upstairs wardrobe in the spare room of Professor Kirke's huge country house.
"Lucy?" Edmund called tentatively.
There was no sign of young Lucy Pevensie.
"Lucy? Where are you?" Edmund would never admit that he was scared to be alone in this strange land.
"Lucy?" Edmund called again. "I think I believe you now," Edmund called as he came to the lamp post Lucy had earlier described.
Edmund continued calling his sister's name until he heard the distant jingle of bells.
Turning, Edmund saw the distant form of reindeer, pulling a sleigh.
Edmund took a step back to avoid being run over.
The sleigh passed him and Edmund stupidly called out, "Lucy?"
The sleigh stopped a few feet ahead of Edmund. He could see what appeared to be a bunch of icicles sticking straight up.
Edmund didn't have time to register anything else, because at that moment a short, fat, bearded man jumped out of the sleigh and ran after Edmund.
At the time the short man attacked Edmund, only one thought was running through Edmund's head.
That ain't Lucy…
Later, after Edmund had finally found Lucy and got back to the Professor's house, Lucy ran to the bedroom the boys shared, shouting for Peter.
"Peter, Peter! Get up!"
Peter struggled to comprehend what made Lucy so excited. There was only one time Lucy would run into Peter's room. So, Peter spoke up:
"What did Santa bring this year, Lucy?"
A/N: That story idea popped into my head yesterday while watching The Chronicles of Narnia, and I wrote it during commercial breaks on Lost. I fully expected Lucy to say when she ran into Peter's room to wake him up, 'PETER PETER GET UP! ITS CHRISTMAS!' And of course, Lucy's not a reindeer. So, please review!
