It was 9pm and the Dragneel household was lively as ever. Natsu and Kai had been rough housing for a whole hour, but they we're scolded by Lucy for waking up little Hikari who had been sleeping the whole time.

As it neared 9:30pm Natsu decided it was time for both him and his blonde look alike to go to bed. But he notice that his son was watching a news bulletin about some bandits that been reaking havoc in nearby cities and towns.

"Dad are thoses guys gonna come to our town too?" the boy asked.

"I don't think so but if they do I can handle them!" Natsu resured his son as he flexed his muscles causing the child to laugh.

"Alright Kai enough fooling around with daddy time to go to bed." Lucy stated as she appraoched them. She had Hikari in her arms and the one year old streched her arms out to her father who gladly took her.

Lucy took their son to the bathroom for a quick bath and then tucked him in bed while Natsu placed Hikari in her crib and kissed them both good night.

As the dragon slayer enter his room he spotted his mate at her desk finishing up a chapter for her novel, he slipped behind her as she got up and hugged her from behind, resting his chin on her shoulder.

"We've got amazing kids, huh Luce." he said placing a kiss on her cheek.

"Yep but they sure drain your energy though." she yawned.

"Yea lets get some sleep."

FLASH...CRASH...BOOOM!

Kai jumped out of bed startled he was pretty sure that sounded like explosions and bombs being dropped by thoses bad bandits he had seen on T.V. He looked out his bedroom window and noticed that it was just a thunderstorm and relief washed over his face. Lightning flashed ilumminating his room and the thunder only seemed to get louder. He heard his sister crying and rushed to her crib.

"Hikari it's okay it's just just a thunderstorm!"

"Just a thwonderstworm?" she sniffed. He nodded and took her from her crib and put her his bed. He tried turnind on his lamp when realisation hit him...the power got knocked out.

"Onii-san it dark and scarwy." she sobbed. She was right,when the lightning flashed it casts scary mysterious looking shadows on their wall.

He hugged his sister and sat beside her.

"How 'bout I tell you a story?"

"Yay a stowy!"

"Yep...Once upon a time..."

Once upon a time there was a princess...but she wasn't any ordanary princess...she was a powerful mage as well! she lived with her father and mother in a big palace. One day the princess skipped down to the river to practice her magic, but she met a pink Dragon with spiky skin.

"A pink Dwagon with spiky skin?!...that weird." Hikari interrupted.

"Yes..yes it is...anyways."

The pink Dragon was actually a prince who was put under a spell by evil mean witch, however the princess was araid of dragons so when she saw him she ran away, making the dragon really sad. The next day she saw him but she noticed the he was smiling and when she went close to him he never tried to harm her he was very gentle and sweet. And over the years they became best riends and then the curse was broken then they got married and had two wonderful kids. The End.

By the time Kai had finished his story the storm had finished and hikari was fast asleep. Uknown to him he had extra listeners who showed themselves when he was done.

"Cool story Kai" Natsu told his son displaying his famous grin. Lucy put Hikari in her crib and kissed Kai good night.

"Good night Kai" his parents said.

"Night!"
