Bing. Elfman grunted, his phone notifying him of a new message. Glancing at the sleeping beauty to his left, he was relieved to see the noise hadn't disturbed her sleep. He tucked some stray brown locks behind her ears with his massive hands, wondering how he had managed to get such an amazing girl.
Taking his phone, he saw he had a new Snapchat message. Opening the app, he held the message bar down, looking at the 10 second picture. It was from Gray, a photo of the Guild Hall, where Natsu was fighting Gildarts. Elfman could clearly see he was losing. 'Are you coming to see Natsu get defeated again?' was written over the photo, and Elfman had to smirk. Suddenly his phone vibrated, and he got a message from Gajeel, with a photo of the fight, from a different angle. 'Salamander is getting beat up' was what the text said. Another message showed up, with Laxus asking if he was coming in.
Once he was sure no one else was going to message him, Elfman pressed reply. His camera appeared, and he looked around the room, trying to find something to take a picture of. Coming up short, he rolled on to his side, and took a selfie. He quickly typed 'Coming in later, can't wait to show Natsu how to fight like a real man!'. He ticked Gajeel's, Gray's and Laxus' names, and pressed send, sending the picture to the three men. Running a hand through his silver bed hair, he placed the phone back on to the bed side table.
All of a sudden, his phone began to vibrate. Snatching the phone up, so it wouldn't disturb Evergreen, he was confused to see no one was calling. He saw at the top of his phone screen, was a little white ghost, telling his he had a Snapchat message. Clicking on it hastily, he saw that Laxus, Gajeel, Gray, Bickslow, Lucy, Erza, Freed and Mira had all sent him several messages. He clicked on the first one, seeing several of his guild mate's confused faces. 'Why is Evergreen in your bed naked?'. Clicking on several other photos, he saw the messages were pretty much the same. 'Dude, are you out with Evergreen?' 'Brother, why didn't you tell me you were dating Evergreen?'.
Groaning, Elfman realised that when he had taken the selfie, he had managed to capture Evergreen as well. Cringing, he looked towards the woman, knowing that when she found out about his mistake, she was going to make him pay. 'Well at least it isn't the worst way to tell the guild I'm dating Evergreen!'
