JJ looked at Dave in shock. She had always feared in the back of her mind that he would cheat but he had always swore that he wouldn't. Now she knew that he was nothing but a liar. After all the proof was right in front of her. Her heart was breaking but she would be damned if she ever let him see that.
"You lying, cheating, bastard! I loved you! I believed in you!" JJ seethed.
Dave's mouth dropped open in shock. He couldn't believe that he let temptation sway him from the woman he loved. And now he was going to pay the ultimate price and for what? God how could he have been so stupid? He knew that JJ wouldn't care that he was drunk. He couldn't even say with one hundred percent that he had slept with the woman he woke up beside. He couldn't remember much of last night but he had a hell of a headache this morning so he had to have drank and then some.
"JJ, please it's not what it looks like. Well at least I don't think it is." Dave pleaded.
JJ shook her head. "Screw you Rossi. I'm done with you. I don't need you! My son doesn't need you. I hope that the little tart next to you keeps you warm on a winter's cold night because it will be a cold day in hell before I ever come near you again let alone sleep in the same bed as you!"
JJ turned around and walked out of Dave's house with her heart around her feet. She couldn't believe that she let herself love him when she knew what kind of man he was. Why was it that she always seemed to be drawn to the wrong kind of me? Why was it that she always set herself up for heartache? She shook her head as she got in her car and peeled out of Dave's driveway. Never again was she going to set herself up that way again. She couldn't afford too. She fought the tears that were wanting to pour down her face all the way home. Luckily Penelope had Henry today so she could stay at home and break down all she wanted.
