Sasuke was fading, and he knew it very well.

All the strings holding him to the Earth's surface were each unthreading one by one, going into thin shreds, and drifting up into the air againest gravity.

Revenge is such a twisted thing..

Laying in the cold cement floor of his chamber, he felt as if he was a zombie.

Who he is now isn't who he wants to be anymore, and he could literalhis being was crumbling away, revealing shards of a long hidden tradegy.

It was painful, the guilt that was weighing him down like an anchor. He was becoming delusional, and with every move he made, he died inside just a little more.

He was losing his mind.

Lately, he has been imagining those tufts of golden hair, those oceanic eyes smiling at him with a warm embrace that even melted a part of his own iced over heart.

He saw those jade eyes glistening as she laughed, that pink, lucious hair that fell in thick strands down her back.

That one eye that was all pulled into a cresent, smiling. That spiky grey hair.

He was thawing out, and he was becoming more barren as these thoughts flowed through his mind.

He had wasted the only happiness he would have ever had in his life, all for one person..All for one sibling. For stupid things he couldn't remember reasons for now.
And so, he had gotten what he has craved for all these years.

He had gotten his long awaited revenge on his brother.

A ghost of a smile cracked his chapped lips. He was going insane. Now, after all that he had caused.. He finally starts realizing his mistakes?

..

What a fucking waste.

When did he become such a hypocrite?

This is when Sasuke finally was pulled back to reality by a burning sensation in his slender throat, a bitter taste entering his mouth.

What?

He froze, a painful lump forming in his throat as well. It hurt. He tried to swallow around it, but he couldn't. He felt his procelian shoulders start to tremble, crack, rattle, rock. His pulse was pounding in his ears, wracking the empty cage around his heart.

Tears spilled over his cheeks in silent rhythm to his heart, warming his pale face. He opened his mouth in a choked back sob, the tast of blood and salt mixing on his taste buds. The sobs echoed in the enclosed room.

Was he crying? If he was, he wasn't familiar with it.. Was he?

Karin, Juugo, and Suigetsu.

Sakura, Kakashi, Naruto.

The raven's mind had gone blank as he held himself in an pained embrace that he wished was someone elses warm, inviting arms, not his cold, pale ones that only gave him more chills.

He wanted Sakura, he wanted Kakashi, he wanted Naruto.

He longed for Naruto the most of the three.

He longed for him so much suddenly, it actually hurt. Mentally and physically.

Sasuke realized that he wasn't going to ever see them again, and he couldn't do anything about it. Not now, at least.

He made a choice that he shouldn't ever have made.

Choices, at that.

And now, Sasuke Uchiha was alone forever.

I hope you all liked my 2nd story. This is pretty much about Sasuke realizing the choices he made weren't the right ones, and that he had chosen the wrong path in life. Hope you enjoyed..!~
