Proposal
Lafayette strolled in the park, happy about his relationship. He and Hercules Mulligan have been dating for 8 months now, and they've been boyfriends for around 6 months now, and he's happy about that. Soon, he sees Hercules going over to him.
"Hello, honey" Hercules said.
"Hey, mon amour" Lafayette replied.
Lafayette blew a kiss at Hercules, making him smile.
"I set up a wonderful romantic dinner by the campfire. I cooked roast turkey with cranberry jam and roast potatoes. Do you want to eat now, or do you want to eat later?" Hercules asked the French man.
"I would love to eat now" Lafayette replied.
The two lovebirds sat down at the table Hercules set up by the fire. Lafayette was awed by the setting. The two men began to eat. Little did Lafayette know that Hercules had a little surprise for him.
"Hercules, I love the setting and the food. You really do know how to set up a romantic dinner" Lafayette said, smiling.
"I have an awesome cooking skill and a wonderful setting-up a dinner skill" Hercules said, smiling.
The two men smiled. As soon as the men were done eating, Hercules looked at Lafayette.
"Lafayette?" he said.
"Yeah?" Lafayette asked.
The two men stood up, pushing in their chairs.
"You and I both know that we've been dating for 8 months now, and I just want to ask you an important question" Hercules said.
"Quoi?" Lafayette wondered.
Hercules bent down on one knee. Lafayette's eyes widened at that. Soon, Hercules took out a small box from his pocket. He opened the box, revealing a ring. Lafayette's eyes widened even more, and he gasped at the sight of the beautiful diamond ring.
"Lafayette, will you make me the happiest man on Earth?" Hercules asked.
Lafayette smiled, happy tears forming in his eyes. He had no words for this. But he decided to speak anyway.
"YES!" He said happily.
He took the ring out from the cushion in the box, putting it on his left ring finger. He showed the ring to both himself and Hercules. Hercules stood up again, closing the box. The two men kissed immediately. As soon as they finished kissing, cheers from the whole park were heard. The people in the park probably heard and saw the whole thing.
"I love you, mon amour" Lafayette said.
"I love you, Lafayette" Hercules said.
'I'll soon be an official Mulligan' Lafayette thought to himself, excited.
The two men decided to come to the Hamilton household. Lafayette knocked on the door. A very tired Alexander opened the door.
"*yawn* Good evening, Lafayette and Hercules" Alexander said, yawning.
"I have great news to share. Is Laurens in here?" Lafayette asked.
"He is. I'll call him over" Alexander replied.
"LAURENS, LAFAYETTE AND HERCULES ARE HERE!" Alexander yelled out.
John ran over to the bottom floor immediately. He stood next to Alexander.
"Come on in" Laurens said.
The four men went in the house, sitting down on the couch.
"So what news do you have?" Alexander asked.
"HERCULES AND I ARE ENGAGED!" Lafayette said excitedly.
"Congratulations, Lafayette and Hercules!" Laurens said happily.
"Yeah! Congrats, guys!" Alexander said happily.
The four men hugged each other.
"Let's plan the wedding now" Alexander said.
"Alright!" everyone else said.
