Our Secret

"Come on Katara! You can't tell me that nothing happened the whole time we were away!" exclaimed Sokka.

Katara just rolled her eyes at her older brother.

"I'm telling you, all we did was just mind our own business," she replied, referring to the time she had spent with Zuko alone.

Sokka just shook his head in response.

"We gave you guys a whole day to yourselves and you guys just... I can't believe nothing happened," he mused.

"Oh sush," said Katara, giving him a look and turning away.

Instead of going after his little sister, Sokka just stayed put, opting to just yell after her.

"Hey! You can't walk away! We're not done with this conversation yet, Katara! I'm your older brother! You should listen to me! Katara~!" he ranted.

Toph just laughed in response.

"Just drop it Snoozles," she suggested.

"Yeah..." Aang added, glancing at the waterbender's retreating figure.

Sokka just hmphed and crossed his arms.

"Fine..." he said, giving up.

As Katara opened the door to her room, she couldn't help but shake her head and smile at her brother. She slowly moved towards the window, just gazing at the sun in the sky until she was interrupted by a very familiar voice.

"So, all we did was 'mind our own business', huh?" commented Zuko from the doorway.

Katara justed hummed in response, turning to face the firebender.

"Well...would you rather them know the truth?" she asked the older teen.

In turn, he just gave her a playful smirk.

"I don't think they need to know what happened between us...do you?" he questioned, one eyebrow raised.

She matched his smirk with one of her own.

"...I guess that whatever happened will just have to stay a secret between the two of us."
