WARNING: If you haven't read Book three DON'T read this. Alright, I just came up with this. It's during book three, But over in Redmont. It's mostly about how Alyss is coping with Will being captured as a slave.
Alyss stared out the window. "I miss you Will. Stay strong." Alyss said. It was Midnight. Alyss was the only one awake. Alyss was remembering all the fun she had with Will in the ward. Why did He get captured? Pictures rapidly went through Alyss's mind. " I love you Will". Alyss said as she finally fell asleep.
" What's Wrong, Alyss?" Lady Pauline asked seeing the grim expression and dry tear tracks on Alyss's Face.
" Oh nothing." Alyss lied.
" Alyss." Lady Pauline said.
" OK... I miss Will." Alyss said.
" Really. How close are you to Will?" Pauline asked.
" Really close. He's my best friend." Alyss said.
" Now that's close. Don't worry Alyss, Halts out there banished and he promised himself that he'd rescue Will." Pauline said.
" But he may return and say that Will is .... Dead." Alyss said.
" Will's not going to die. But if he does, Horace will be alive." Pauline said.
" Yeah. I guess." Alyss said.
