The moment the Hunters reached, Thalia stopped to say hi to Chiron, before running off to find her cousins, Percy and Nico. She knew she wouldn't find Annabeth anywhere, as once again she was up at Olympus overseeing the rebuilding. Percy sometimes complained that she spent more time with the 'old building' than with him.

She found Nico first in Cabin 13. Nico was overjoyed when he saw her and jumped up to give her a hug, something he rarely did, for he hated human contact. Then, he eagerly shadow-travelled Thalia to Percy, who was sitting on the beach staring off into the distance.

This wasn't a Percy-like thing to do, so Thalia and Nico approached him cautiously from a distance.

"Do you sometimes feel like the gods are using you? Like they take you in when they need a job done, and then discard you right away after they're done with you?"

Thalia and Nico exchanged looks. Nico went for the joking answer, "Well duh, but I don't sometimes feel that. I feel that all the time."

"So many lives lost in the Second Titan War, all because those demigods joined the wrong side. And the gods still didn't bother to tell us there was another group of demigods," Percy said angrily.

Thalia shrugged. "Well, we can't do anything about it," she replied dejectedly, sitting down beside Percy. Nico plopped down on his other side. "Where's your Hunter spirit, Thalia?" Percy turned to face Thalia, eyes twinkling and looking like the Percy they knew, "Let's sing a song. Apollo owes me a favor. I'll ask him to broadcast this song to the whole of Olympus. And then we can pretend we didn't know Olympus was listening to us."

Thalia and Nico agreed heartily and after Percy prayed to Apollo, they started to freestyle their song
