"Honey! Your'e gonna be late for Oak's Lab." My mom says as she enters through my door.
"Yeah right-Wait what?!" I yell as I fell out of bed "Why today?" I say as I run down the stairs and go outside. I sprint towards Oak's Lab as he was outside, watering some grass pokemon.
"Your later then usual, Noria." Oak says as he turns to me.
"Sorry Professer." I pant as I bend over to try and get my breath back "Are there still any pokemon?"
"Why there is. All three of them actually." Oak says as he smiles and walks inside. I follow him with a questioning look "The other kids who were supposed to come, but delayed their adventures for different reasons, and my grandson Gary happen to catch a different pokemon of his own so all three of them are here, and I'd like you to have all three." He says as I go wide-eyed
"Wait really!? Why?" I say as we both walk up a flight of stairs.
"Well would you want the other two pokemon to keep waiting another year or two. Only seems fair." He says as we come up to a room with a playpen in the middle of the room, filled with three pokemon, a red lizard that had a bright flame on it's tail, a blue turtle, and a green bulb. When I entered the room all three looked toward us as they sat on pillows that seemed to represent them.
"Hey." I say nervously and wave as the fire one happily waved back, the squirtle didn't do anything, and the grass one waved back with one of it's two front paws.
"This is Noria. He will be your new trainer, and Noria, this is Bulbasaur, Squirtle, and Charmander" Oak says as he hands me three pokeballs. Oak walks over to a desk as he comes back with a red device "This is a Pokedex, it will collect data of every pokemon you see or collect." Oak says as I nod and look towards my new three pokemon.
"You guys ready?" I ask as Charmander purrs his name happily, Bulbasaur nods, and Squirtle looks away seemingly trying to act cold "Good enough!" I say as hold up the three pokeballs, all three of them entering into them. I wave bye to Oak as I walk back outside. Getting ready for what's in the future.
