Turtles!

Title : " Training The Young."

April's Farm House!

Night!

The full moon lit up the night as a young turtle with nun-chucks ran through the field of wheat. As he was moving he was thinking about how easy things used to be for him and his family. The ease of training with their Sensei. Their father who loves them dearly. The turtle with the nun-chucks stopped and listened for any kind of noise. He closed his eyes and heard an owl hooting in the night. A rush of wind went past him and he furrowed his eyebrow. The turtle turned around and got ready to defend against his attacker. He put his nun-chucks away and waited for his attacker to strike. The turtle heard a rush of wind go past him. He turned to his right and then felt a sharp pain in the back of his left ankle. The turtle fell flat on his back and then he just stared up at the sky.

" Focus ." A familiar voice stated from the darkness." Focus your mind and you'll be able to defend." The turtle sat up in to a sitting position. He breathed in and out for a few moments. Then the turtle got to his feet and stared in to the darkness. He closed his eyes and imagined a target with a bull's eye on it. Then he pulled out his chuck's and listened. The turtle heard a rush of wind. He held up his chucks in a defense position and waited. Then he heard another rush of wind coming from behind him. The turtle flipped himself around but it was too late. He felt a sharp pain in his stomach and then fell to his knees. His attacker then fled away in to the darkness. The turtle stood up with his hand held to his stomach. He coughed and took a deep breath. " I said focus your mind." This time the familiar voice sounded angry with him. The turtle breathed in and out while beads of sweat dribbled down his forehead. He had been at this for three hours. But he couldn't give up yet. His older brother never gave up on this and he wouldn't either. The turtle removed his hand from his stomach and picked his other nun-chuck up off the ground. He took a deep breath and then let out a large sigh. But this wasn't one of relief. This was a sigh of discontent. There was a rush of wind and the turtle got in to a defense position. He closed his eyes and listened. Another rush of wind went past him on the left side. He flipped over to the left, held up his nun-chuck and blocked his attacker's weapon. They held their stance and the voice from before stated, " Well done, Michelangelo." His attacker let his weapon fall. He then walked out in to the moonlight and, Michelangelo saw his, Sensei standing there in front of him with a look of happiness on his face. He then fell forwards and, Splinter caught his son in his arms. Splinter looked down at his youngest son, Michelangelo and stated, " Now we can eat my son." He helped, Michelangelo get to his feet and then they started towards the farmhouse so they could go eat supper with the rest of their family.

The End!
