Prologue

I still remembered how it felt, the gun that is, the cold and frigid feeling as I grasped it for the first time in years, and the rush of warmth it created the moment I pulled the trigger. That's part of the reason why I missed, I was aiming for the robber, I really was, but the gun… it felt so cold and so, just lifeless in my hands. I didn't want it to be, so I pulled the trigger, just so that the nauseating feeling of just how cold that gun was would go away…...but it was then replaced by another feeling, complete and utter sorrow.

this is just a little prologue that I made for a language arts class, the plot is that Amy accidentally shot her little brother dead when a robber broke into their house. She's 15 years old and I don't have anything else yet, I have a lot of stuff going on, but this is just what I currently have. The brother is 10 btw.
