Welcome to my newest story, one that I've wanted to write now for a very long time. Ok rules for this story are as follows: 1st-Voldomort=dead, completely and 100%, the diary was his ONLY horcrux, so bye-bye voldyshorts. 2nd-Hermione=Pureblood, from one of the longest purest line, like the Malfoys. 3rd-the first 10 chapters of this story will roughly follow the song This Is My Idea from the Swan Princess. This chapter is a prologue, a snippet from what will be chapter 10, it's very short but hopefully it will hook you and bring you in.

So without further adieu please enjoy

This Is My Idea: Prologue.

They were lost in their own world, just the two of them, spinning around in circles in time to the music that only they seemed to hear. His silver eyes looked down into her doe-like honey brown eyes and he could swear he never saw anything as beautiful as he saw her right now. Why did it take him so long to see her beauty? He leaned in, his eyes shifting from her breathtaking eyes down to her full lips and back up to her eyes. They had stopped dancing but neither noticed. They were being watched by both sets of parents but neither cared. They both leaned in together until their lips met.

Fireworks, that was the only way to describe the feeling he was creating in her, sparks that rocked her to her core. Her hands, clearly having minds of their own, wrapped around his neck, while his hand came up to the back of her head and got tangled in her hair.

How is it possible to have hair this soft? He wondered, but he didn't stay on that thought too long. Kissing her was different, very different then all the other girls. He felt alive kissing her. She was the only woman he ever wanted to kiss again.

He pulled away from the kiss finally, and watched her beautiful brown eyes flutter open. Looking into them he made his decision, right then, at that very second.

"Arrange the marriage." Both women squealed, very out of character for them, while the men clapped themselves on the back and shared a heartfelt smile. The houses would be united.

"Wait." Hermione said. She hadn't agreed to this. For Merlin's sake he hadn't even asked her.

"What?" He responded deadpanned. You're all I've ever wanted. You're beautiful."

"Thank you." She said blushing slightly that Draco Malfoy thought she was beautiful. "But what else?"

"What else?" He looked at her so confused as if he couldn't fathom what she meant.

"Is beauty all that matters to you?" Both fathers, as if to help the poor lad out, cleared their throats and shook their heads. Draco looked from them back to Hermione who was watching him intently a gleam of hope in her eyes.

"Draco." Cissy, trying to help her only son by encouraging him to talk about Hermione in another way other then her looks repeated the young witch's question. "What else?" They family and Hermione waited on baited breath for Draco to answer. The poor lad was looking back and forth between Hermione and the family before finally settling on her.

"I uh." He stammered, He had no idea what to say what she wanted to hear. "What else is there?" The second he said it he knew it wasn't right; it wasn't what she was trying to hear. He could hear their mothers sobs, their fathers groans, and he watched as that gleam of hope he had seen in her eyes not two minutes ago vanished, watched as her eyes started to water and her shoulders slump down in disappointment. She had her answer, and Draco had to watch Hermione walk out of the door and away from him.

Hope y'all liked.

Please let me know what you think. I'm off to write more chapters since it's 2310 in Afghanistan and I am wide awake.
