Lightning-Dono: Sorry for the insanely long absence! ;o; I've been working on my own little works that aren't fanfics, so…it's been a while. So I decided to kick off my new session on this account with a poem!
It's short, but it's dreadfully Meroko-ish.

She can see the hidden
promises
The little things he
held within his heart
She knew she was his
jewel
He told her from the
very start
But as the years
dragged on
He treated her as
something he would pull around
She marveled his
protectiveness
To her, everything was
safe and sound
The demolition of
feelings held dear was to come
He couldn't hold onto
her anymore
Emotions were too
fragile
And pretending to love
made his heart sore
She was nothing more
than a doll
She wanted love, but
could only love back
But this time she had
picked the wrong man
A man with a heart
