author's note: This is just to let you all know.... I'm not new to the idea of lots of !FLUFF! (my fav thing in this whole wide world!), but I'm not that old and if you know me personally, this is so unexpected from me, haha! Yeah, I just thought I had to say that. I'm such a dork, lol.
Aragorn smiled as he saw a beautiful woman wave happily at him from across the great dinning table as he waited for his meal. Her name was Arwen Undomiel, and he had seen her before. In fact, he had seen her many times, but the only two people who knew that were her and himself. He once lived here in Rivendell, and lived among the elves, though he was a mortal man. He was raised by Arwen's father, lord Elrond, and durring this time, Arwen lived with her grandmother in Lothlorien. When she returned to her father, she met Aragorn, and knew she wanted to be with him more then anything else in middle- earth. But then, everything changed, because as soon as Elrond found out he forbid them to see each other. Soon after that Aragorn had to leave Rivendell into the world of men.
Now Aragorn was back in Rivendell to visit, and he was more nervous around Arwen then ever just because Elrond was keeping a very close eye on them both. Why couldn't he just back off? He knew Arwen wanted to meet him in secret, he could just sense it. The way she kept looking at him so joyfully made him nervous. Who knows what would happen to them if anyone saw. The last time Elrond caught the two of them kissing was horrific. Aragorn still was trying to erase the memory.
Finally, dinner was served, and Aragorn had an excuse to not return Arwen's gaze. He could feel the heat of her vision staring at him, longing him to look up so she could see his smile. For a split second, Aragorn wanted to look up and see her saphire eyes shyly look up at him, but he resisted. He couldn't. But finally, he knew he had to give in or he would surely loose it! But when he did, he noticed Elrond watching him, so Aragorn returned to his food.

Later that night, Aragorn couldn't sleep. He hardly ate anything at dinner, and he couldn't even think strait! All he could think about was how much he wanted to see Arwen again. He had to, or else he was never going to be able to get through the night in peace. Why did Elrond have to make everything so damn difficult!
He looked out his window as though he was looking though the bars of a cage. That's how it felt at least. He felt trapped in a world of discontentment. He felt wounded, and his tourniquet was too tightly bound. He had no freedom here.
It was raining heavily outside, and all he found he could do was watch the drops trickle down the frame of his window. He was soon lost in the winding paths where each drop fell. He finally made up his mind. It was either now or never. He got up slowly but surely, and went to go find Arwen.
Lightnening crashed and thunder boomed in Aragorn's ears, leaving him with an odd ringing sound when everything was silent. The rain was now beating down so hard it was hurting him, so he found shelter under a thick clump of trees. He wanted to turn around and just go to bed and sleep it all away, but something held him back. So he took a deep breath and plunged back into the pouring rain. But only a few seconds later, someone grabbed his hand.
Hyarya si rato? (Leaving so soon), a voice said softly.
