A/N: Don't own them (sadly) other than on DVD. Based on the previews for 6x11 "Second Chances."

Stella took in the scene around her. She felt as if her face might split any second from the wide grin on her face, but watching the antics of her colleagues had kept her with a permanent grin. Add to that the warmth and security she felt radiating from the man next to her, and truthfully, she wouldn't have it any other way. She felt more than heard the rumble of laughter from Mac as they watched Don, Lindsay, Danny and Sheldon dressed as elves while they paraded around the children. Sid was the crowning jewel though, in his Santa costume. One by one the children made their way to his chair as they sat on his lap. The parents and hospital staff looked on with tears in their eyes as they watched the faces of the children light up as they each received a brightly wrapped gift.
Stella had to bite back the sigh that threatened to escape as she felt Mac pull her closer, his arm wrapped securely around her. It was so rare that he was the one to initiate any sort of contact that she would enjoy every second of it. Suddenly to her left she heard a child cry out and quickly turned her head to see what was going on. She was surprised to feel a pair of warm, soft lips brush hers as Mac had been turning to place a kiss to her temple. Both froze for a minute, but neither made a move to pull away. Finally she was the one to pull back, fearful that he would retreat from her. Feeling a blush creep up her neck, she was shocked to see a wide grin on his face. For a moment they just stood there, taking in the other's expression. Silently he leaned back in, brushing a kiss just in front of her ear as he whispered to her, "I've been wanting to do that for awhile now. Merry Christmas Stell."
As she snuggled back into his side, she felt his other arm wrap around her, holding her securely to his chest. Grinning to herself as she placed her arms at his waist, yes, it was going to be a Merry Christmas.
