Yes, I have returned. Yes, I have joined a facebook fanfiction challenge. I don't own the characters.

McGee should be taking time off for sick days, but he instead comes into work. His eyes are puffy, and his nose is stopped up. He keeps tissues at his side, and in his sleeves. As soon as he steps into the bullpen with the bright orange walls glaring at him, Tony is at his side.

"Whataya want, Thony?"

DiNozzo brushes his arm against the probie's. "Why do I need to need something, McGoo?"

"I'm Sthick."

"That's okay." Tony grins, following him to his desk. "I'll stay with you anyway."

"You have a desthk."

"Too messy." He replies, grabbing two stacked boxes to use as a seat.

"You have a thair."

"Broken."

McGee either realizes he's going to lose the battle, or he's too tired to care. He stops trying, and he lets Tony sit next to him. They get a case halfway through the day. Even then, Tony remains at Tim's side. He insists on going into interrogation together, the morgue; Abby's lab. After the case is over and the agents are going home, Tim needs to stay behind and fill out a few forms. Tony sits on the crate, watching him. Tim slams his things down and prepares to pack.

"Now that no one'sth around, wouldth you mind thelling me why you wanna get sthick? And sthop giving me all thoseth sthupid exthuses. We both know that'sth shit."

Tony blinks. "Uh, okay. Um, there's a seminar tomorrow. Being senior agent, I'm supposed to go. If I get sick, Ziva can go in my place."

Tim nods, throwing his bag over his shoulder and heading to the elevator. Tony grabs his things and follows the probie.

"Wasth that stho hard?"

"Yeah." Tony laughs as the doors close. "Do you not realize how hard it is to try and get sick? I felt like I was in grade school all ov"

Tony is cut off by Tim yanking on his tie and giving him a rough kiss, tongue and all. Tim's tongue runs along the roof of Tony's mouth. It coats the edge of his throat and runs along the gums as he pulls back.

"… What?" Tony blinks again, utterly confused.

"That should get you sthick."

The boys part once they arrive in the parking garage. The following day, Tony has the beginnings of a cold. Unfortunately, it isn't enough to worm his way out of the seminar. The day after, Tony is as sick as Tim was, if not worse. Tim is still slightly sick, but he is doing much better. Tony's sneeze is directed for Tim, and the younger agent grins.

This was pretty short, but I think it might become a series on its own.
