Momo went flying in search for scraps of food and leftovers. He would glide through houses, bins and, most of all, food shops. Thinking that they'll be lots of fruit trees, he went into the woods. He wasn't scared about getting lost as he has got a very sensitive nose and can smell Aang from tens of miles away. So he flew and flew in search for some fruit but found nothing. On the other side of the woods, he came to a clearing where, in the distance, he could just see a big pointy rock. Curious, he went to see what was going on.
After he flew for like half an hour, he was near enough to see a big gathering of animals. He had never seen anything like it. On the huge point sticking out of the rock, was a monkey and behind him, was a lion, a younger lion, some sort of pig and what looked like (to Momo) a squirrel without a tail. In the crowd, on the ground, there were rhinos, zebras, giraffes and lots of others.
Momo went to sit next to the young lion. The monkey reached back and grabbed Momo without looking, then held him up for everyone to see. After a brief moment of confusion, the animals bowed. The monkey, although was surprised, thought that fate had a weird way of expressing itself. When he finally put the lemur down, Momo flew off in fright.
When he found Aang again, he jumped into his coat, shivering. 'Hey buddy, we were looking for you'
Who would have thought it, eh? Momo, the king of the jungle?
