AN: Hey guys! I've gotten so much support in so little time it is mind blowing! Anyway, here is just a little plot bunny that hopped into my head today. Hope you enjoy!
I Do Not Own Twilight.
Bella's P.O.V.
Ugh, I hate my birthday. Everybody always makes such a big deal out of it. All I want is a small, nice, inexpensive gift exchange from my closest friend or friends and I'm good! Maybe a pizza with my dad. I want a birthday that is most likely the opposite of what Alice has planned.
I didn't try to make small talk with Edward while in the car. I was too worried about what horrors were about to occur that I was seriously gnawing at my lip.
"Stop being so nervous, it will be just fine. Besides, the whole family contributed to reining Alice in on the festivities. She wanted to invite your whole class." stated Edward calmly, perfectly guessing my thoughts.
"I thought you said you couldn't read my mind." I grumbled under my breath, but he still heard me. He chuckled.
We had pulled up to the Cullen house, well mansion. I unfastened my seat belt and reached for the door handle. Unfortunately, my loving, oh so considerate boyfriend opened the door for me. 'Ugh!' I thought, ticked off. 'I am not some delicate flower that will faint if I open the flippin' car door, Edward!' I thought. Sadly only when I want my thoughts to be heard are they inaccessible to The Great Mind-ful Edward. I mentally rolled my eyes.
I quickly stepped out and shut the door behind my, magically not tripping on the front steps. I entered into the unknown.

A Little While Later, Still at the Dreaded Birthday Party…

I felt a sharp sting on my finger as I attempted to open the envelope.
Oh no.
My mind raced at a mile a minute, thinking of a safe solution to this new problem; I just cut myself in a room full of "vegetarian" vampires. I can put in in my sleeve? No, the blood would just spread and stain. I watched the drop of blood slowly well up on the tip of my finger. Everything was in slow motion. I quickly looked around.
All eyes were black, and stared in undisguised hunger at my finger. I did the only fast solution I could think of.
I popped my finger in my mouth.
The party blinked. Time was regular again. Everyone just stared for a minute. Making sure everyone was still sane, I quickly walked out of the room and up the stairs to Carlisle's office. I rummaged through the drawers. Edward and Carlisle poked their heads through the doorway.
"Um, Bella? What are you doing?" asked Carlisle, confused.
"Hm?" I said, ceasing my rummaging and looking up. "Looking for a Band-Aid." I said, as if it were the most obvious thing in the world.
I brought my finger out of my mouth, it had stopped bleeding. Good. I wiped the saliva on my sweater. I quickly wrapped the band-aid around my finger.
"Crisis averted." I stated simply. Carlisle and Edward were still in a small amount of shock. I brushed past them and went back into the party room.
The party continued.
