Running, screaming, crying, and guns blazing. Would my own men comprise my mission, or even kill me? Pushing, shoving, bodies falling, and no it can't be? it just can't be! Before I could make sure who it was someone shot me in the chest. I fell breaking the glass wall and fell off a cliff

Prologue

"Wake up! Get up man or we'll be late!" yelled Aaron

"for what" I thought as I got up lazily and remembering I'm in the army. I ran to the dressing room " Oh sh-" I mumbled the rest in my shirt as I put it on. I turned around and got the rest of my clothes on. I rushed out and said "How do I look"? "

"Who cares lets go" yelled Aaron in an anxious tone. We rushed out of our resting quarters then outside. I looked around Thick gray clouds, rusty buildings, dirt roads, and the thick coffee (like) smell that help men get out of bed. "another day as a marine" I whispered

"Ha ha very funny will you get a move on" He said partly sarcastically. Then I saw my friend in a jeep "Hurry up or we'll be late for inspection." I got in the jeep (more like jumping in the jeep) When we got in line our sergeant yelled "give me twenty!" yelled the surge.

We went up and down as we looked at each other we were thinking for better or for worse we were in the army.

I woke up partly from a nightmare and the sound of voices, grunting, and moaning. I went outside quietly to watch. I saw two men on the ground and the other two were being dragged into a hole then I went into the bushes slowly to get a better look. Three men were in the hole ( I assume that because they were missing.) Then I gasped and held my breath as I saw Aaron being dragged to the hole (I think he was unconscious) one of the men looked familiar but I can't remember. He picked up Aaron and threw him in the hole and got out his gun and a silencer. He attached the silencer to his pistol and fired eight shots at the men in the hole (including Aaron) Then they started burying all of them. I kept watching and I swear someone knocked me out because all I suddenly saw blackness and hearing someone saying you're going to go in the hole you peeping Tom.

I woke up in my bed sweating profoundly as I got up. I still have my cloths on but they were clean as the day before. No mud or dirt was it really a dream? I got to my feet and into a jeep with Aaron.

"Had a good night's sleep?" Aaron asked as he handed me a towel.

"Not as well as I usually do ." I answered as Aaron and I laughed. When the jeep stopped I got out and Realized Aaron disappeared I looked around for him for a while then went to the lineup. The serge talked to us about what to do when a mission goes wrong. Before I could leave the serge told me about getting a promotion and sending me with a unit called the P.P.U on an undercover operation.

"There short a men and you fit the bill listen you have 48 hours to join with the P.P.U choose wisely." The serge said sternly as he stormed off.

I saw Aaron walking away I caught up and he asked me what happened.

"Serge asked me if I wanted to join the P.P.U."

He stopped cold and told me To NEVER join the P.P.U on ANY operation.

"Why?" I stammered.

"Beca-"

Aaron got cut off.

"Hey what are you doing man?" said my partner Erik .

"I'm talking to my friend."

"Where is he?" Erik replied.

"He's right he-" Aaron disappeared "Waa?"

" Got to run meet you later" Erik said as he left.

"Where did you go Aaron?" I thought as I went to my sleeping quarters and went to sleep.

I woke up on grass with a rough voice that said "will you join us."

"yes" I replied.

"good" and someone hit me hard enough that I passed out.
