Crimson

He touched it, the petal,

It wilted at that second,

He sighed, another gust of wind blew,

whispers of the shadows haunted him.

His crimson eyes showed all the sadness,

All the pain and all the sacrifices.

He scowled at the thought.

He went into the river, looking through he

saw his reflection.

His eyes, the color, it haunted him.

The darkness had claimed him,

His mind simply went rogue and corrupt.

The thing he hated about the dark was that,

It never gave him a chance for happines.

"Zeref"

She called as she caressed his cheek,

She smiled at him, the simple touch made

His cheeks burn red.

She giggled as she stood in front of him,

He loved that laugh, the sound of her voice.

It calmed him, for once he felt happy, for once

He felt something that he had found appealing.

"Are you coming?" She called for him,

Twirling around the fields and having fun.

"Mavis."
