Will of Annabeth Chase
I'm dying now as you read this,
My soul going to the Underworld.
Forgive me father, for our fights
Mother, I should've listened to you
But now it's too late
I have lived my life to the fullest
And now I am happy to be a half-blood
Running away
And meeting Percy
Have been the best things in my life
The quests, the prophecies
The battles and deaths
Have all lead up to this
If I had been a Hunter
I might've lasted longer
But I couldn't have left Seaweed Brain.
The quest for Zeus' lightning bolt,
The quest for Thalia and Camp,
The quest for Artemis and I,
And two I wish not to speak of.
But don't forget Percy's choice
To help or destroy Olympus
I'm thankful that he did not destroy the palace way up high
That's all I need to know, before Hermes leads me the way,
To the Underworld.
Thinking back at sandy-haired Luke,
The one a ran away with,
I pity his decision
By joining Titan Kronos
But something lurks inside of me
Telling me to help
When there is nothing left to do
But watch him slip away
Slip away in the darkness, Slip away
Out he goes without a choice.
I long to see his long-gone smile,
Instead of the cold eyes of death.
He used to be a good guy
What had happened to him?
Perseus Jackson, yes I know
Not Seaweed Brain or Percy, no.
I have to say you've been with me,
Since Luke has joined Kronos,
No betrayal except for once
But he came back as normal as he could be
Sure, my mother doesn't approve
But I think my feelings have grown for him
We traveled to the Underworld,
Lotus Casino, The sea of Monsters, Westover Hall,
And even saved me at Mount Tam.
He gave me a postcard of Hoover Dam
While I was prisoner,
Perseus, I don't regret
Ever meeting you.
So who is it that gets my fortune, no matter how little?
Is it Mother, Father, Thalia?
Or even Luke or Percy?
Will it be a good old friend, a traitor, or the saver of Olympus?
Listen to these words to solve the puzzle of who it belongs:
The rush of tides, messenger thief, or the Huntress of the sky,
You may not know but I do.
He may not be the best of guys, but he's good enough for me.
So that takes out the Huntress.
Past or Future, choose what you want.
You may be right, you may be wrong.
Ask the Oracle of Delphi
Or Anaklusmos' maker
Past or Future, choose what you want
You may be right, you may be wrong.
Maybe Aphrodite knows,
Who I chose for this will
You will not know until I tell,
Unless you know all.
Past or Future, choose what you want,
You may be right, you may be wrong.
Those who know me may have a clue
I know I don't sound like myself,
But this is a will, give me a break.
Past or Future, choose what you want,
You may be right, you may be wrong.
Choose the path you wish to go,
Percy or Luke, guess who it is
A difficult choice, isn't it?
No wonder it took me a year to write this.
Past or Future, choose what you want,
You may be right, you may be wrong.
Doesn't this sound like a prophecy from a book?
Maybe that will be a clue.
Past or Future, choose what you want,
You may be right, you may be wrong.
I may tell you now who is the one
Is it the hater of Hermes, or the hero of Olympus?
Past or Future, choose what you want,
You may be right, you may be wrong.
Now I will tell you who is to get my fortune
It's Seaweed Brain or Percy as you know him.
I wish you the best, may you live long.
Don't grieve for me, I'm not gone forever.
Heck, by saving Olympus, you might become a god.
And maybe than I can see you again.
Oh, I forgot one thing,
I love you Percy Jackson, and I always have and I always will.
Author's Note: I know this doesn't sound like Annabeth, but give me a break. This is my first one-shot and poem.
Anyhoo, Read and Review!
