Doctor Who
Unsettled
Bill X Heather
Summary: Bill can stop thinking about a certain Timelord.
Sailing across the stars circling around Jupiter before passing by a few other planets Bill Potts held a huge smile across her lips.
Glancing over to Heather words could not express the joy she felt with being reunited with the woman she loved. She had finally found her pilot and she didn't want to let her go.
Yet even though she kept smiling as they danced around the stars something kept chipping away at Bill. Deep down one word echoed through her mind and no matter how hard she tried to lock it away it refused to rest.
Doctor
The two of them came to a stop hovering over Neptune. Heather turned to Bill; she gently caressed her cheek. Heather could tell something wasn't right even through her joy she could feel a wave of mix feelings coming from Bill.
"You seem unsettled about something." Heather said telepathically.
Bill forgot about their link and that it worked both ways, she could feel a huge sense of worry radiating off Heather. Even her eyes held a wave of concerned in them. So Bill couldn't lie to her and thought it would be best to tell her the truth.
"I miss him….The Doctor, I know he hasn't passed on but I want to make sure he is alright." Bill replied telepathically.
A sigh echoed through their link as Heather laid her head upon Bill's chest. She even wrapped her arms around her and snuggled in close.
"I guess I can't stop you." Heather replied.
The two of them remained in each other's arms for only a few minutes more before separating. They were still holding hands and looking deep within each other's eyes. Heather didn't want to let go but she knew she had to. For she knew that once Bill had her mind set on something she was determined to see it through.
"You can come with me you know." Bill suggested.
"No… you must do this alone now go to him. Heather replied.
Heather finally let go of Bill's hands and watched with a tearful eye as her beloved passenger floated from her grasp.
"I will find you again." Bill promised.
Heather nodded as Bill disappeared from view, she watched as her lover sailed across the stars traveling back to the teacher who taught her so much about time, space and life.
Once again the girl with the star in her eye had to wait for her passenger once more. While she wasn't sure how long it would be she did know one thing it would be well worth the wait.
