Summary: Lorelai and Rory adventures on Europe
Lorelai and Rory Gilmore were backpacking in Europe for the first time since Rory's graduation from High School. Lorelai was in her mid thirties and Rory was in her late teens.
Lorelai wants to drag Rory around London because this was the perfect opportunity to chase Bono, the leader singer of U2. They met some cool girls in a pub and they would chase the singer to Ireland where U2 would have a concert the next night.
"Come on Rory!" Lorelai insisted trying to convince her beautiful daughter to jump in the adventure. "Can you imagine how cool it would be to meet Bono in person?"
"Yeah." Rory rolled her eyes still uncertain of her mother's master plan. "He would think we are two crazy groupies and put a strain order on us."
"But at least we would have the chance to meet him. Come on, it will be fun! It's an adventure!"
"We just got in London!" Rory tries to put some sense on her mother's head. "We didn't even get the chance to visit the Buckingham Palace yet."
"Please, Rory! It's Bono! It's U2!" Lorelai was desperally bouncing and giggling trying to convince her daughter. "It's Ireland. Can you imagine Lane's face when you tell her you met Bono? At least it is better than jogging in a treadmill like you suggested before."
"I was mocking. You can't mock the mocking. Did you not get that?" Rory sighs defeated. "Fine, let's go to Ireland to chase Bono."
"Thanks, you are my favorite daughter." Lorelai said giddy hugging her. "I knew I would convince you."
"Yeah, you always manage to do that."
On the next night on Ireland .
"What a drag!" Lorelai complained annoyed and freezing on the pouring rain holding a pink umbrella. "I can't believe Bono bailed on us!"
"He didn't! U2 just canceled the concert because of this crummy weather. That's perfectly understandable."
"Who's side you are in?" Lorelai said a little upset. "Me or Bono's?"
"You are grumpy, mom. And I refuse to talk to you when you are acting like a four year old. Listen, the girls said there's a pub a few blocks from here. We can go there and drink some coffee."
"Coffee " Lorelai moaned to the sound of her favorite beverage. "Yeah. Let's. I need coffee. Lots and lots of coffee."
"What a bummer! That rain totally ruined our night!" Rory finally complained when they entered in the pub. "At least you had that guy hitting on you."
"Are you kidding me? That scary-creepy-psycho one? I would rather have Kirk flirting with me."
"Or Luke " Rory teased Lorelai who sighs. "He already flirts with you anyway."
"Here we go " Lorelai shakes her head before making her order to the waitress. "An Irish coffee, please."
"The regular coffee for me." Rory asked to the tall brunette who was writting their orders before comes back to the kitchen.
"At least we will have a good last night before coming back to Stars Hollow "
"Yeah, you are right, Rory and maybe we could work out a tad more after comingback home."
"And stop eating junk food."
"And drink coffee." They share a look before bursting to laugh when the waitress comes back with their coffees as they take a sip.
"Or we could just stay the way we are. The way everybody loves us." Rory suggested with a wide smile.
"The adorable Gilmore Girls. I drink to that!" They toasted their cups before taking another sip of their coffee.
