After watching the anime i had to write a small story to it
As the sun was setting over the bloodshed battle field the air filled with the roars of the victorius dragons who's again maneged to protect humanity from the bloodthirsty demons. They battle was long and mercy less taking the life of many brave dragons however the grief was overshined by the great victory keeping the names of the lost ones as hero's for the ones who's got the chance to life.
However one wasen't cheering with the others an elderly red colored dragon the ground under him slowly was covered in blood as one of he's talons was holding the side of he's body trying to stop the bleeding from a huge wound balancing with the gun he used in the battle moving he's gaze up to the setting sun he knew that this was the last battle for him however he wasent sad in fact a smile showed on he's face"I did it..Riko.. I kept my promise.. "the words would leave he's mouth as fresh tears runned down on the side of he's face the smile never leaving he's face as the dragon could feel the live slowly leaving he's body with every second it was harder to take each breath one of the dragons would notice him sending he's elderly friend a worried gaze "Carmine?..hey are you..okay..oldman?"the young dragons town would be filled with worry as carmine would just smile at him before feeling over the last thing Carmine heard was the younger dragon crying out he's name before darkness toke over him.
Carmine…Carmine…"he could hear someone calling out he's name from the darkness a voice he haven't heard for centuries yet would never forget in a million of years he's eyes would slowly open"Ri..Riko.." carmine would whisper slowly rising he's body only to notice that he was on a beautiful green field as the sky was crystal clean with sun gently shinning down at him as the fresh wind would kindly stroke he's body"Carmine.."he heard it again as he's heart skip a beat" it can't be..Riko.! Riko" the dragon would yell turning around to see no one than he's beloved Riko standing there only a few meters away her face showing a small smile as she would look at him with love filled gaze as Carmine would not waste any more seconds running over to her taking her small delicated body in he's arms as tears of happiness would escape from he's eyes"i..i..cant belive it..its..its..really you Riko..please tell me its you..that im not dreaming.."he asked in fearful voice remembering he's dreams where he found her again only to wake up afterwards only to find out that it was only a dream. The girl in he's arms would let out a small laugh looking up at him with glassy eyes"don't worry..its not a dream..i'm here Carmine we are together again.. and we wont be apart from each other ever again.." Riko said as her own eyes would also be filled with tears as Carmine would move he's talon carefully wiping the tears away only to notice that he's clawed hand was much smaller glancing down much to he's shock noticing that he's body became younger as he was the same age when he first talked to Riko..to what or why it happened he don't know..but it dosent mattered to him right now as the only thing witch was the most important in Carmine's eyes was Riko and that he will never leave her side ever again as he would hold her closer"yes..we will be together..forever.." Carmine would whisper earning a big smile from Riko as the two would embrace with pure love.
