I saw the note being passed along the bench towards me as Mike looked over his shoulder smiling at me. When the note reached me I could see my name scribbled across the front in Mikes messy writing – nothing like Edwards elegant style.

As I was about to write back I felt another note drop discreetly into my lap.

I couldn't help but giggle, jealousy on Edward was so cute, I quickly wrote a reply to Mike.

Before I had chance to finish the next paragraph the person next to me was nudging me with a returned letter.

I shook my head laughing, he was so predictable, and yet he still didn't get the message, he knew full well me and Edward were together.
I thought you didn't know what to do?

Erm well I've figured it out now

No need Edwards coming over to help, thanks anyway

As soon as Mike saw the message Edward was reading the content of it in his mind and seconds later he was by my side sliding onto the stool behind me, curling his arm around my waist. I sighed with content, yes Edward was possessive and had a protection complex but in a way I liked that – even if the fact he found Mike a threat was baffling to me.
