A/N: Twas five nights before Christmas, when all throughout the house, not a creature was stirring and- …Pippin gave me this prompt XD: 'They know s/he's mad when s/he starts to.........' It was a rather pleasant exchange of challenges (with the threat of cringe worthy consequences). Mine to her was "Why are the hell are there socks on the ceiling?"

Why yes, I am in fact sane and sober, contrary to what Nez says.

Hey guys! Happy was actually referenced in recent issues! Hallelujah he exists!

Enjoy~

Pepper is extremely scary. Not because she yells or screams or makes idle (or perhaps not so idle) threats, although there are those too.

It is because she rarely gets angry.

When she does, it's a sight to behold, truly. Tony doesn't think he's ever seen something so terrifyingly beautiful as Pepper Potts, pissed off.

There is always a reaction too. When Pepper is merely annoyed she'll retaliate in some shape or form, usually with a vindictive amount of unavoidable and yet useless paperwork. When she's just pissed she'll find little ways to torture him, usually involving hiding the condoms, running interference on any other female interaction [There have been way too many sitcom worthy episodes in which he had tried (and failed) to find a way around her] and wearing low cut tops which in his opinion should really be made mandatory.

'Cause, y'know. Boobs.

Bow chika wow wow?

Yeah. He wishes.

When Pepper Potts is furious you know it. But it is in those instances that the consequences are not the reactions [the slow burn of champagne and the need gnawing in his throat. He was a recovering alcoholic and there it was, all over him. Tempting and horrible. He hadn't had to wonder if it were done on purpose. That level of spite was beyond even the angriest Virginia]. No, when that woman is that angry it is her that is the punishment.

When it makes him wonder about how he's hurt her yet again, that is what bites him in the ass.

Tony Stark will always know the degree of anger that is Pepper Potts according to a Richter scale of expression.

Pepper is very good at hiding most things. She can hold information, her pain, her love and her tongue. But never, will Virginia "Pepper" Potts be able to hide her anger from Anthony Edward Stark.

Her lips will quirk, as if she's almost about to smile. Her eyes will slide until they're half closed, her face will flush. But what reveals it most is the flames. There is a burning behind her green green eyes. It's like a forest fire. Her anger roars and consumes him in one fell swoop.

Her fury is a destructive force.

It's kinda hot.

In retrospect, he probably should have worn a cup today.

A/N: …This humor fic is making vague attempts at being deep. It's a weird swap.

And THEN they made out?

For anyone who follows my stories you'll know what the heck I'm talking about. Yeah.

I got issues 20 and 21 today. I'm now sooo excited! I do have a question though; does War Machine still have the repulsor tech? Because that would make Tony a liar (gasp! Shocking, I know).

Ah snark. An old friend.

Happy holidays everybody!

PS: Know what makes me really happy? Tony's name. He's Jewish. Seriously. And it's my grandma's maiden name and I'm a practicing Jew. That is in no way an anti-Christian or anti-Christmas comment, it's just sort of cool to me. It's like finding out your favorite actor shares your birthday; it's amusing and makes you happy.

Pride peeps, pride.

Peace and love everyone~!
