His head rested against the pillow, his eyes tightly closed as he tried to recall the events of the past week. He forced himself to remember what she had said to him that morning, the one that had started this mess. He couldn't remember specifics, she'd only said it in passing.
Oh – "If we end up with only one room, I refuse to take the couch. If you're picky, you'll just have to be a big boy Wuornos and draw a line down the middle of the bed."
To anyone who was overhearing their conversation they'd think that Audrey Parker wore the pants in their partnership. But that smirk, it had told a whole other story.

They were in Boston on business, he reminded himself. Though since Audrey's arrival into his life, the Haven P.D. Chief had been having trouble separating personal from professional.
However, he thought to himself as he sat up and opened his eyes, taking in the sight of her in his baggy sweatshirt and a phone to her ear while she spoke to Stan about pulling some records, mixing professional and personal wasn't that bad.
Especially with Audrey Parker involved.

I'm rolling in the drabbles today.
Maaaan.
Well. This is a step away from the angst that I'd written the last time I decided to dive into the Haven Fandom's area of fanfiction. Let's just say that's a good thing, yeah? c:
Just wondering: does anybody who read this watch Motive? The Canadian show that's usually aired just before Rookie Blue? Just stabbing into the dark here guys. Because I'm trying to figure out why there isn't a category for it and I'm drowning in drafts for fanfictions.
Thank you!
All mistakes are mine.
