I promise you, landlord. You'll never be picked on again…
It was only the first week of school. Delicate hands gathered the fallen books and papers on the ground, long hair covering his face as a group of kids snickered.
Never will they utter another degrading word…
He nearly couldn't will himself to go to school the following Monday. But he did. Going to school proved to only be worse. Girly, freak, whitey was amongst the names he was called.
He went home crying.
Never will another tear fall from those eyes…
The group of kids were on TV the following day. On a strange incident of all falling in a strange coma after falling asleep in bed.
Never will you be without friends..
The pale child's collection of Monster World characters grew with him, he never questioned how it happened out loud. It was at times, when he had nothing to do, would he spend his time, playing with the ten-faced dices, a character of his own that was always surrounded by people, adventuring the land.

The kid sat alone in his room, no older than 10, curled up in a ball, the golden object has hung around his neck for nearly two years now. Didn't his father say with it, he wouldn't he alone? Beautiful brown eyes looked up, surprised to see a figure, in clothing like his own, standing in front of him.
"W-who are you?"
"...You may call me Bakura, landlord."
"B-Bakura?" Ryou reached out in a childish, innocent way to take hold onto Bakura's shirt, something, only to feel his hand go through the desired person.
"A-are you an angel?"
"No, landlord."
"Y-y-you're not..?"
"...You may call me so if you want to."
"Why do you call me landlord, Bakura-angel-san? My name is Ryou.."
"..."
"Bakura-angel-san..are you here to stay with me and be with me forever and ever?"
The dark creature may have had stepped into this kid's life to help them, save them from this cruel and corrupted world. But he never knew..that instead, this angel saved him instead.
From the darkness that he thought could never be penetrated no matter how brightly a light was directed in.
Never will you have to be alone anymore landlord...Ryou.
Because..you'll have me.
"Yes, Ryou. I'm here to stay with you."
"Forever and ever?"
"Forever and ever."
