Hook stood standing at the edge of the boat peering into the sea. He gazed across the calm, vast blue sea with the moon's reflection gleaming in the water. Staring deeper and deeper into the water, the sea's gentle rolling waves began to disappear as well as the reflection of the yellow-tinted moon until all that was left was a glimmering blue sea. The sea remained empty until clouded images began to disperse suddenly upon the water. Faded moving images began to appear until they started to turn into memories. Clear memories of someone's past, Hook's past.
Upon entering Neverland, Hook erased all memories of his past from his mind. He forgot the life he had before, knowing that he would never be able to return. After forgetting everything and everyone, Hook became a new person. Becoming a pirate was the most suitable life for him to take on and in doing so, worked his way quickly to becoming a captain. It wasn't difficult for him to earn the respect of many pirates due to his cleverness and agility which he learned long ago. Slowly over the course of many months, Hook became cold hearted. The once clever, outgoing, and spontaneous man he used to be faded away quickly. Leaving his past behind allowed him to distance himself from what he once was, a strong-hearted man. Hook slowly became ruthless and adjusted to the mutiny life of a pirate.
What was his past, why did he want to forgot? Why did he even come to Neverland?
