Juliet plucked a rose from the meadow. It was lavender and matched her dress quite well. She held the rose up to her face, sniffing it. She ran her other hand up the stem, allowing the thorns to prick her.
"...O-ow." She murmured quietly. "You're deceitful, you know that." She smiled softly, knowing she was talking to herself.
She looked at the flower, "Your appearance is appealing to the eye," She sniffed the flower once more. "Everything about you is simply gorgeous." She blinked, noticing blood was dripping from her finger tips. It stained her dress. "But, how can something so beautiful, cause so much pain?" She dropped the rose and let the wind take it a couple feet. She continued to walk in the meadow of colors.
"Everything is an illusion." She sighed and picked up another flower. "A beautiful illusion." This one was blue and smelled like her sister's perfume. She dropped it into the basket.
"When did everything I know, become so fake?" She continued to walk. "This meadow," She looked up and saw Hyrule Castle in the distance. "This place..when did it all become so, imaginary?" She looked up at the sky.
"Or maybe, it's been this way all along." She smiled to herself, holding the basket close to her. "I just chose to ignore it. I wanted to live my fantasy." The wind blew through her hair.
"Who am I fighting for? The even bigger question," She looked at the castle. "Who am I even fighting?"
The bells from Castle Town began to ring, causing her to jump. She spun around and dropped her basket of flowers.
"O-oh no! I've been gone for too long!" She sprinted into the forest, then a few steps in, she stopped. She giggled sadly to herself.
"O-of course they're not worried..." She looked at the ground. "They wouldn't care if I was gone or not.."
She suddenly lost her balance and fell to her knees. She began crying her heart out, hoping that someone would hear. Someone would come save her.
When she already knew that nobody would.
