Disclaimer; I sadly don't own Brendon Urie, "Three little birds" by Bob Marley OR a Coffee Shop..so..
As I opened the door I hear the faint chime, and distant small talk, the laughter of close friends, but there was one thing I was not prepared for, the voice of an angel, an Archangel
I tried to focus on him as he sang but the was so much going on, the way his fingers moved on the piano, his gleaming chocolate brown eyes framed with beautiful thick full lashes , "What was this song"..
He slowed it down, made it more folk.."Who was he..".
Rise up this mornin',
Smiled with the risin' sun,
Three little birds
Pitch by my doorstep
I knew this, I remember singing this at camp, on the school bus..over those young summers that seemed to go to fast, I stand for a while, taking him in..He was perfect..He just looked flawless. A light brown sweater complimented his hair & eyes, full lips which grazed the microphone every so often as he hit a note..
I eventually found my way to a two person table still perplexed by this .. As the song ended I snapped out of my trance..
But only to be reeled in by his sensual voice thanking the humble store for "putting up with his antics "..including a nervous chuckle..
A server I knew as Ashley came up on the small platform to thank him with her words.. "I'd like for everyone to give a round of snaps for our newest participant Mr. Brendon Urie!"
Brendon, his name was Brendon.
I went home that night, my head filled with warm thoughts of the meek angel, Brendon.
Only falling asleep humming to myself the song he sang, recalling memories of his face, and making a mental note to return tomorrow to see him again.
Singin' sweet songs
Of melodies pure and true,
Sayin', This is my message to you..
Hey, I would really love if you could review & point out all my mistakes..Every little thing helps! Thanks..xox
