Raziel's Loss
I saw myself, again
In a broken mirror
Dropped by a child of mine
As they died
Those golden eyes that promised love
Where empty hollows of putrid light
That stern thin mouth
An empty maw
My firm, rough skin
Torn asunder to muscle beneath
And my cold, calm heart
Overflowing with rage
My children, who I loved
All where slain for his pride
My great halls gilded in stone
Now forever gone
My family dead, long since lost
The legacy gone, decades forgotten
I would mourn my loss, if I still had
Eyes to weep
