Caroline's (POV)

She has known Tyler her whole life. Tyler with his leather jacket. Black or brown. It does not matter. He always looked like a bad boy with it.

He was good looking, yes. That she has to admit, but he also was a huge jerk. He always had girls around him. Everyday another girl on his arm, but she did not like him at all. She did her very best not to have to do anything with him, but faith had other plans for her.

He was flunking math and needed a tutor.

At first she didn't want to help him, because he always acted like a jerk around her.

They hung out in the same group, but he never really spoke to her. Just one or two words.

But she eventually said she would help him, because she was the kind of person who couldn't say no.

He came to her house with nothing in his hand. NOTHING!

She couldn't believe it.

"Where are your books? She asked.

"I don't know, maybe in school or at my house. He said.

"Well, how in heaven's name am I going to help you without your books? She asked, while gritting her teeth.

"I bet you have spare ones, can't you tutor me with one of those? He said uninterested.

"You know what, Tyler! If you want to flunk football, that's your headache. I can't help you, if you are not interested in getting the grade you need. So, will you please leave? Because you clearly don't want to help yourself! She said angrily.

She got up and went to the kitchen to have a drink. To calm herself, cause like always he gets on her nerves. She was a calm person, with lots of patience. But he seems to have a talent to get under her skin.

She didn't hear the front door open or close, so she assumed he was still in her living room.

She got up from her chair and walked to her living room.

"What are you still doing here, Tyler? She asked.

He just stood there and watched the pictures of her and her mom, when she was younger.

He turned around and just stared at her. Looking at her like he saw her for the first time.

Then he just ran out of her house. "This boy is so strange" she thought.

Tyler's (POV)

Caroline Forbes. She was so annoying. Always with a smile on her face, miss goody to shoes. She always had to participate in everything. I mean EVERYTHING! And he was the kind of guy who did not want to do anything, but play football and have fun with girls.

She thinks she is so perfect. That's why he always find it hilarious to get on her nerves. He has known her his whole life and knows exactly how to push her buttons. He had to smile thinking how he could get her all furious.

But now he needed her help. Dang! She was the best tutor at his high school and needed her help. He would rather swallow his own hand than ask Caroline "freaking" Forbes for help.

But his mom forced him to do it, cause if he didn't he would fail math and he could forget football.

He loved football more, than he despised her. So he did what he had to. He asked her help.

At first she refused, but eventually after asking her 4 times, she said yes. He laughed thinking about it, she could NEVER say no. Good thing that he knew her well. He still dreaded that he had to go to her house to be tutored by her. But he can't lose football.

He drove to her house and knocked on her front door. She said: "Come in. I'm in the living room."

I am so going to freak her out. I had my books in my hand, but decided to leave them in my car just to tease her.

I went to the living room with nothing in my hands. She began to freak out, I had to laugh internally.

She went to her kitchen and I had to laugh, but held it in.

I looked at her pictures; she looked so cute in those. I kept looking at one in particular, I remember that day. We had a play date. We were 9 years old, my mom made that picture.

Her mom had to work, so she brought her to my house. It was THAT day. The day everything in my life went to chaos. It was the worst in my life. The last day I remembered being happy.

I had to get out of her house. She asked me what I was still doing here and I ran.
