Peter came home from work completely exhausted. He threw his bag aside before collapsing on the couch, his eyes sliding shut. He felt the weight shift on the couch and opened his eyes to see Sylar handing him a glass of water. Peter took it and slowly sipped on it.
"How was your day?"
Peter set the glass down and snuggled into Sylar's side. "Busy."
Sylar ran his fingers through Peter's hair and lightly kissed the top of his head. "At least your home now, I have dinner on the stove."
Peter nodded and turned his head to kiss his partner. "I love you."
Sylar smiled. "I know."
Peter smiled back before pulling Sylar so they were laying on the couch. Sylar scoffed and went to move away when Peter pulled him down into another kiss. Sylar kissed him back before trying to get up once again. "I need to check on dinner."
Peter shook his head. "Nope, I'm not letting you go."
Sylar laughed and kissed his partner. "If dinner burns, it'll be your fault."
Peter smiled. "I'm ok with that."
Sylar pulled Peter into another kiss, wrapping his arms around his waist. The kisses were slow, until Peter gently bit down on Sylar's bottom lip. Sylar met his lips in an open mouth kiss, both letting out a small noise of approval as their tongues met.
Peter surrendered to Sylar as they continued to kiss. Sylar's fingers ran up and down Peter's side before slowly sliding under the Peter's shirt to feel the soft skin there. Sylar slowly caressed Peter's skin as he trailed kisses down his neck. Peter let out a quiet moan as he held Sylar closer, turning his head to give Sylar better access. "Sylar…"
Sylar kissed back up Peter's neck, nipping just below Peter's ear, his breathe hot in his ear. "I love you, Peter."
Peter pulled him into another deep kiss, holding him even closer. The kiss ended too soon when the kitchen timer went off. Peter let out a sigh of annoyance, Sylar smiled and kissed the tip of his nose. "Don't worry, we can finish this after dinner."
Peter pouted and Sylar kissed him one more time before reluctantly removing himself from his partner's embrace. Sylar ran off to the kitchen and prepared their plates before coming back out into the front room. He handed a plate to Peter.
Peter took the plate as he began to speak. "So did you mean that?"
"Mean what?"
"Do you really love me?"
Sylar laughed and kissed his cheek. "If I didn't I would of left by now."
"Why did it take you so long to tell me?"
Sylar shrugged. "I guess I was just waiting for the right moment, but I could never find the time and then it just kind of slipped out. I mean you tell me you love me all the time and looking down at you today, made me want to say it. I love you." Peter tried to hold in a laugh, and ended up snorting, Sylar looked at him, slightly hurt. "Don't laugh at me! Oh my God, I should of not said anything, now you think I'm stupid."
Peter set his plate aside and wrapped his arms around Sylar's waist. "I don't find it funny, I really do find it kind of romantic."
"Then why did you laugh at me?"
"Because I was thinking about how the only reason that I come home is to be with you," Peter replied, with a kiss. "And that my favorite thing is being wrapped up in your arms and kissing."
"We turned into real saps, have you realized this?"
"I blame you."
"What did I do?"
"You are completely irresistible, that's what."
