I'm sorry if this is really bad. This is my first story. So, if you can think of any ways that I can fix my writing, just leave it in a comment.
Chapter 1 - New School, New Life
"Zedekyia! If you don't get down here now, we're gonna be late and I told you yesterday that Carly won't wait for us if we're late!" my sister Jay Jay yelled at me from downstairs.
"Why do we have to ride with your friends? You can drive! You have a licence! Why can't you just drive us?!" I called down to her.
"Where are they?" Carly said, outside the house. "It's not like them to be tardy like this. I'll just get going..."
She then started to walk away when Zedekyia and Jay Jay ran out of the house and said, "Sorry we're late!"
"That's okay," Carly said. "Now let's go before the bell rings and we're late for our first day at Monster High."
As the trio walked to school, Carly looked at the charm on her necklace: a Roman Catholic rosary. She gently gripped it and silently prayed, "Please don't force me to take this off."
Once they got to school, the entered the building and they started their adventures at a new school, with new friends and allies.
