Disclaimer: I do not own Xiaolin Showdown.
Warning: Very light slash of the JackxOmi sort.
Other Crud to Know: It's in Omi's POV. It's based on the episode 'The Deep Freeze.'

I told him the hug made me feel awkward.
I didn't tell him why.
The others didn't want to help Jack. But I did. I couldn't leave him there alone. He was so scared. No, it wasn't that. I'd seen him scared before. He was helpless. Defenseless. Vulnerable. And, in a sick way, I loved that.
"We are Xiaolin Warriors," I said, "We must help all who need it."
Lying is a very easy thing to do, if you heart is in your lie. And I guess my heart was.
So we took him back. We took him back, saved him from his loneliness, and what does he do? He betrays us. He steals the Shen Gon Wu.
Betrayal hurts. I trusted him. And . . . I don't think it was being wrong that upset me. It was the fact that I had really believed in Jack's loyalty, and then he broke my trust.
But before the betrayal . . . Something . . . Alarming happened.
When I convinced the others to let Jack come with us, he was happier than I have ever seen him. And that made me happy, too. And then came the unexpected part of his reaction. The hug.
I told him the hug made me feel awkward.
I didn't tell him the awkward part was that I liked it.
