Mysteries of the thing called a heart
Two beings. Two hearts.
As we sat on the sandy shore watching that crimson of the sun, I couldn't help but think, Think about the fact the two of us were beings that should not be, yet we were. It had started on that one mission, that one mission when she had removed her hood and I saw her face and heard her speak, we changed, we could feel, although we didn't know it yet.
It was that afternoon after we had defeated the darkside, as we sat watching the lit up sky from that precarious edge of that tower, we decided, gathering hearts... it was wrong, the organisation 13 was wrong, Kingdom Hearts was wrong, we could feel that it was wrong, although we didn't know that we could feel.
We sat watching the bustling town, we each had that salty but sweet sea-salt ice cream, her head on my shoulder, I felt happy. The two newest members of the organisation, we were the first ones to feel, we didn't know it then... what we had come across.
We used the darkness corridor, letting our new found feelings guide us through the worlds in that darkness. Those feelings that we shouldn't have guided us here, to this sandy shore, Destiny islands, the place where we forged our own destinies, broke apart from the being we were part of; one being became three, although we didn't know it yet.
We met those four, Kairi, Selphie, Tidus and Wakka, the six of us became friends. As we sat there on that branch that stretched out onto that lookout I couldn't help but feel content, I had friends, I had her. Sat next to me with her head on my shoulder, it was here that i realized what it meant to feel.
It was months later when Axel found us, it was then when we learnt, that we couldn't exist, but it was then that we learnt what we had, that we could in fact exist.
It only comes to me now, as we watch Sora and Kairi in that vast expanse of crystal blue from this sandy shore, that we are own individuals, Two beings, two hearts, Roxas and Xion, we should not exist and yet we do, we gained our own hearts. Why? How? Who knows? I guess it's just another one of those Mysteries of the thing called a heart.
Short little oneshot, my first, so tell me what you think
