Suguru Fujisaki picked up his music sheets and quickly but tidily put them in his bag. He wanted to leave the studio room as fast as possible now that practice was over. He had had a tough day with his band mate, Hiro, gone visiting his girlfriend in Kyoto. It had been a tiring morning calming down their manager, K, who had gotten ready to retrieve Hiro and bring him back. Then their was also the problem with the pink menace most called Shuichi Shindou. Normally when he was in one of his mood swings Hiro was always there to calm him down but alas not today.
As soon as Suguru stepped out the building he could immediately tell something was wrong. For one thing Shuichi was sitting near the bottom of the stairs crying. Things like these never seem to amaze Suguru especially since Shuichi was older than him.
" Shindou-san, what's wrong now?" He said, trying his best to stay patient.
" I was running out the door then I feel down the stairs ," Shuichi sobbed.
" You know you shouldn't run so fast when going down the stairs and besides it's not a very long way down." He glanced at the three steps and wondered why he put up with this nearly every single day.
" But I scratched myself! And it's bleeding!"
" Let me see."
Suguru leaned down and examined the scratch on Shuichi's left arm. It was only a small one and it was bleeding very slightly. He sighed but took out a small first aid kit from his backpack and got out a box of band aids along with some disinfectant. Carrying the kit was something he started doing ever since he joined Bad Luck, it actually came out useful very once in a while.
" There. You should be better now." Suguru put the things back but found himself in a bone crushing hug.
" Thank you, Suguru-kun!"
" Your welcome. Now can you please let- wait a minute. That's the first time you called me by my first name."
Shuichi let go of Suguru and thought for a second. " I guess you're right. Well then that means you have to call me by my first name too! I know! We had lunch a while ago so lets get some ice cream! It'll be our dessert! Come on Suguru! I know the perfect place!"
" Stop Shind-Shuichi! I never said anything about going anywhere!"
" Wha-? Does Suguru-kun hate me now?" Shuichi's eyes started to water and Suguru tried to think of something quick.
" You're annoying but I don't hate you," Suguru said. It helped a little but Shuichi still looked like he was about to cry. " You're an interesting person to hang with," he quickly added.
" Really? Yay!"
" So…you mentioned ice cream, right?"
" Yep, my treat."
" Very well then. Why don't you show me this "perfect place" of yours?"
" Ok! Come on!"
With that Shuichi quickly dragged Suguru to the ice cream parlor and even though he was a bit annoyed at first he ended up having a good time.
