Title:During The Night, My Mask Melts Away
-A poem about sakura's feelings toward sasuke-
During the day...
I laugh until I thought I might burst.
Nothing can make me cry, nothing at all.
But under the veil of the night,
my mask drops onto the floor,
ending with a soft crash,
then breaks, in to little pieces.
And my happiness disappears...
just like that.
At night I cry until my heart feels like it'll break!
It hurts... it hurts too much!
It pounds against my chest,
trying to force its way out,
trying to tell the one I love,
that I love him, truly love him!
But I don't have enough courage! I'm weak and helpless!
No... not helpless... just scared.
Scared he'll reject me, push me away forever.
So I cry my feelings out into my pillow.
Every single one of my tears contain words.
Enough words to explain my eternal love to you.
Maybe someday, you'll see me crying.
And you'll finally understand why.
