Robin never died day (Monday 23rd October)
Prompt: After dying, Robin finds himself back in the tavern and realizes it's the moment young Regina comes in. He turns around and chases after her, convincing her to give them a chance
Robin had no regrets. He would do it all again; sacrificing himself so that Regina could live. She earned it and he knew that she will make sure that Roland and Rose are well taken cared of.
"I never got to tell her the baby's name" he spoke as he realized that his voice and mind were still functioning. His eyes opened slowly as his hearing started to come back. The place where he was seemed familiar maybe because it was familiar. Robin and the Merry Men had spent countless hours drinking and retelling the tales of triumph over the Sheriff of Nottingham in this very tavern.
"How am I here?" Robin asked himself while looking around. Some of the people he knew but they seemed different, younger. He knew that Hades was evil and a liar he just hoped that Regina killed him before him and Zelena could run off with Rose.
Hope was all he had left, and it was obvious that the lies that Hades told were just that. "Okay, I need to get a magic bean or a witch and get myself back to my family" Robin said out loud to himself.
He stood from his seat and turned towards the door.
"What the h…?" he was stung by what he saw. There standing in the door way of his favorite tavern was Regina staring directly at him. She was a vision in white with her long hair hanging down her back.
Just as quickly as she appeared she was gone, turning and closing the door. What is going on? He wonders as he runs after her, getting to the door just as she turns the corner.
"Regina, wait" he yells as the skirt of her dress falls from his view. It was her wasn't it? He knew he didn't imagine it. He knew that he was in the past; the moment that had changed his future forever was officially in front of him; Page 23 of Henry's storybook.
He knew that was the only possible answer, because if he was to dream up a Regina it would not be, her younger self. He loves the woman she has become too much.
This was a second chance to start again, he could be with her or he could go back into that tavern and let life play out as it had previously.
Doubt rose in his mind as he thought about what he would lose if he followed her. If he changed the past, looking down at his shoes he caught sight of his reflection in them. Robin didn't look younger; he looked just as he had the day before.
He knew that he had been either sent to the past or is locked in his own memories aware of everything. Well, if that was truly the case than his choice had been made for him.
"Don't worry Regina, I will find you. I will always find you?" he said as he ran to hopefully catch up to his new destiny.
