Depths of Determination and Survival
Leading you down into a grave of blackness
Waiting for someone to answer the question
Taking one step at a time
Gracefully wading
I'm scared though
Someone is watching me
This is not normal
A pair of eyes light up in front of me
Yet no body accompanies them
A spark of fright can be heard through the ocean
I open my eyes in dread
And yet I'm still looking at death
The perfection of the eyelids on it can't be compared
The way it moves is indescribable
The way it looks at you…is poisoning
I scream through my mask and swim
Yet the eyes never lower or ascend from mine
Each move I make backwards and forward
This mirror in front of me won't move
I see the opposite of myself
Begging won't help me
The only way to defeat it
Is by saying the unspeakable
To go against your beliefs
To defy those higher in authority
To let loose a wave of destruction
Slowly the eyes start to fade
Now you have the strength
Go my friend
Spread the news
And all will be saved
