"Honhonhon," A voice laughed, causing Arthur Kirkland to jump.

"Bloody hell!" Arthur shouted, his thick eyebrows furrowing and his eyes glinting in anger, "What do you want, frog?"

"Je't aime."

Arthur flushed a bright crimson, glaring at the offender. Francis Bonnefoy, otherwise known as Arthur's boyfriend.

"Are you happy?" The Frenchman asked softly.

"Y-yes," Arthur muttered.

Around him, the warm wind danced lazily, graceful still. Here and there, a bird let out a sweet chirp. The hot summer night was calm and relaxing. Apparently, there was going to fireworks, but so far, none.

"Good," Francis said, smiling sadly, "I will miss you."

Arthur froze.

He had honestly hoped not to talk about this subject. Recently, he had been accepted into Oxford. Oxford. He would be going away from his current home, America, soon.

But Francis's family, which basically only consisted of his grandmother, could not afford to send Francis there, despite him having been accepted due to his art talents. Besides, Francis's grandmother was sick. Francis needed to stay and take care of her.

"I'll call," Arthur mumbled awkwardly.

"I know you will," Francis whispered, leaning in.

"Be happy, mon cher."

As their lips slowly met, the fireworks started, as if on cue.

Red, gold, green, blue, and so many other shades burst into the starless night sky. Above, a full moon shone, calm and serene.

As summer ended, and autumn approached, there would be many tears.

But now, there was only love and two youths, hoping.

It was the last day of ***th grade today! Yay!

Of course, since I had way more time and energy than I usually do, I wrote a useless oneshot (the horror you have just witnessed above) and a bad poem. Yippie.

Of course I had to make the poem depressing (me being me). Of course, I probably should feel so happy I could puke rainbows and sing like Italy right now.

However, I just feel kinda… meh… how to describe it…

Okay, so since I gave up on trying to explain myself, I will be off now! Time to go waste my life!
