"Yes, Light-kun?"
"...what the hell are you wearing?"
Light's eyes were glued to the form of L before him. Instead of his usual attire, the young detective was wearing a knee-length, pink and blue plaid skirt.
"Why, this is a skirt."
"I can see that."
"Then why ask, ehh?" L smiled and sat down in his normal position.
"But...why?" Light was still confused, so L patted the seat next to him while stirring his coffee. Light sat down as L attempted to explain.
"I've been thinking, maybe Kira is a female."
"So?"
"So, I need to get into that frame of mind. You know, in touch with my inner female."
"By wearing a skirt?"
"Yes, exactly."
Light sighed as L dumped the contents of a sugar packet into his cup.
"I don't know any girls who sit like that, Ryuzaki."
