Tonight was a very special night. It was a movie I've been waiting for, for a very, very long time. But.. my other 5 friends wouldn't go with me. Here's what happened..
First was Applejack. She said she had apple bucking to do with Big Macintosh, like always. I told her it was okay, I'll find someone else. I flew out of Sweet Apple Acres.
Second was Fluttershy. You know how kind and shy she is. She has to take care of her animals, clean her house, all that stuff. I asked her one more time, she still rejected. I sighed, saying goodbye leaving her house in disappointment.
Third was..uh.. Rarity, yeah. It was still a no. I even begged her. She said she had dresses to make, and other duties she was rambling about. I really wanted to go with a friend. It wouldn't be that fun if it was just me alone.
Final was Twilight and/or Spike. I bolted into the Treebrary like always, clinging on Twilight's 4 hooves.
I asked her if she could possibly come with me to the movies. She was thinking about it for a second, then I looked over to Spike, with eyes that looked like from a puppy. She responded with "Well, I...m-maybe not..today, Rainbow Dash.. I'm sorry.. I have work to-" I left right there. The speed left a rainbow trail behind me. I don't know exactly where I was going, but an idea popped into my head.
I went up to Cloudsdale and took a small cloud with me. Think of it as a /borrow/.
It was already around sunset. I guess Luna was just about ready to raise the moon.
The cloud I had was ontop of me. I was sitting under a tree, crying as that cloud was pouring rain down me, and I liked it. My soaked rainbow mane partially covered my face.
I don't know how, but.. she saw me there, crying.. it was like a miracle.
It was her.. she said to me one night, in that meteor shower...
"I'll do whatever you want, Rainbow Dash!"
Scootaloo noticed me, running over to me. "Rainbow Dash? What's wrong?"
I coughed, sniffing as I shook the water off my head. "N-Nothing.. I-It's okay..." I cried more when I said that. She kept insisting until I finally said it.
"My 5 best friends are too busy doing stuff than to hang out with me.. In a few hours.. there's this movie I want to watch very badly... but I realised it's not going to be that fun if I have no friends there.."
By now, the cloud ran out of water. She utterly said, "Rainbow Dash! Why didn't you say so!"
"I'll go with you! Remember what I said that night?"
I looked up at her. "Y-You will..?"
"YES! I've always wanted to hang out with you!"
This was the moment where I cried out in joy and stood up to her, repeadetly saying, "Thank you...thank you, Scootaloo!"
Back in my room, I dried myself up, getting ready for the theater.
As soon as I was done, I dashed over to the theater in a flash.
She was waiting for me there, she saw me. We got the tickets, popcorn, soda.. It was almost my best night ever!
We sat together, watching the movie together. She laughed at humorous parts, whilst I laughed with her. I then asked her if we can hang out tomorrow, and she happily said yes before I could even finish the sentence.
I smiled, wrapping my front left hoof around the back of her neck, resting my head on her shoulder as I continued watching the movie.
