Disclaimer: I do not own anything.

Screams echoed around him.

Who is that screaming?

He tried lifting his eyelids, but it drained whatever energy he had from him. He was so tired and all he wanted was to go back to his warm cocoon, all the while the screaming continued.

Where am I?

He could feel nothing around him except for the warmth blanketing him, pulling him back deeper. He couldn't remember what had happened or what was going on. The sounds started to dissipate and all he felt and heard was nothingness. He was alone and he didn't like it. Not one bit. The darkness crept over him like a parasite, sapping his will power and he didn't have the strength to stop it.

KShhhh

Flashes of something streaked past him, too fast for him to grab hold of. He knew that he should be doing something, anything to get out. He didn't know why, but he knew that giving into this thing around him would be detrimental. He had to leave! He had—

Kshhhh

Who?

He let himself be pulled further down, slowly losing all sense of awareness. The hands of nothingness grabbed hold of him and all he knew was silence, unaware of the voice that called out.
