Author's Note: I wasn't really thinking when I wrote this, I was just trying to fill up the rest of my Writer's Notebook so that I could get a new one. I came back and read it today and said, "You know what? This is rather good compared to some of my other songfics. I believe I'll post it." And so I shall! Kagome was lying down on her bed, staring dully at the slow clock.

No answer on the telephone ~*~
Inuyasha had been so mad at her... She had just gone back to her time and retired to the bed waiting for him to come. He usually would have by now. She heard the phone ring several times downstairs, but couldn't find the energy to go pick up.

It was getting really late, the sky growing darker. She hoped he hadn't gotten into any trouble after she left...All the worst possible scenarios ran through her mind as a tear slid down her cheek, quickly followed by another, and another.

A sudden realization came to Kagome as she pictured him, dead. She loved him....he was all that mattered to her...he was her world....

"Inuyasha..." she muttered, snuggling her head into her pillow. A cold bead rubbed against her neck, and a hand came out from the covers to stroke it. Inuyasha had given it to her on her birthday.
"Where are you?"

What if he never forgave her? She longed to just jump through the well one more time, but his last words frightened her...
"Never come back!"

Kagome's tears came quicker as she remembered his face, his smile, his voice. She realized that she wouldn't be able to tell him now, to tell him she loved him.
