A/N: First off, I would like to apologize to the readers of "In the language of flowers". I seem to be having trouble trying to type out what I have in mind (T.T) . So, I am trying to keep myself in, shall we say, the mood, by writing more stories of Oro and Anko.

Anyway, this is a one-shot, a random idea that bored little 'o me thought up... this is set when Orochimaru is Anko's teacher in Konoha.

Orochimaru looked at the girl standing in front of him with a disapproving frown. Anko was supposed to be listening to him, but look at what she was doing... instead of listening to him and clinging on to his every word as if they were her life, her eyes was following a certain boy with the Uchiha crest on the back of his plain, high-collared navy shirt. Orochimaru did not even have to look to know who.

"Are you even concentrating Anko?" he asked, as the girl quickly averted her eyes back to him.

"Erm...of..of course!" Anko lied, as she grinned at Orochimaru.

"...this has been bothering me, and I am a little curious. Do you have a crush on Uchiha Itachi?" Orochimaru ask as he arched an eyebrow, obviously not impressed at her try at lying.

"NO!" Anko said, as she looked aghast, the very idea seemingly disgusted her.

"Then can you explain why do you keep looking at him?"

"...its just that...he...he...stole my dango! He keeps stealing one everyday!" Anko wailed, as if that was something really disastrous. "I try to pound him to dust, but he just keeps escaping!"

Orochimaru sighed. So they weren't dating. "That is a good attitude. You just have to train till you can beat him, right?" he said as he ruffled her hair.

"Now, as I was saying, a true shinobi must always put the mission ahead of everything, and that includes their own life. Which is why, it is advisable for shinobi not to love."

Anko looked at her sensei thoughtfully, as she thought over what he had just said. "How about dango? I love dango!"

Orochimaru almost rolled his eyes in exasperation. "Okay, say, if you were threatened by someone who have the power to take down Konoha, and he wants to eliminate and destroy all the dangos. You can only save one of them. Which will you choose?"

Anko looked horrified. "The dangos of course! It's only sensible!"

Sighing, Orochimaru rubbed his forehead. There is a lot reasoning to do with this girl...

So? How was it? Very short, yes, but that is cause I have to off the com soon (T.T)
