SWEET AND SOUR
"Sweet, indeed." The Doctor said huffily as he reattached the dematerialization circuit. "He's nothing of the kind."
"Yes you were. You reminded me of my grandad, actually. You were funny and charming and nice." Jo smiled.
"Were?" The Doctor raised his eyebrows. "That implies, my dear, that I am no longer any of those things."
Jo stuffed her tongue in her cheek. "Of course you are. Very much so."
The Doctor sniffed. "Thank you for the ringing endorsement."
Jo grinned wickedly. "Are you jealous?"
"Of my second self? Certainly not!"
"Good." She kissed him. "Because I prefer older men anyway."
