A/N: Just a little something devised with my friend Bouzi Neo in mind.
Just review, please!
Many Shades of Darkness by Rubii Firestorm
Kari watched him, light crimson eyes never flickering as she stared into
his own enticing opal-like depths, oblivious to the chaos of the battle
raging all around her. Gatomon tugged at her hand, wanting to digivolve, but
she barely felt the slight pull.
Would would I have to do to be yours? she wondered dreamily. I
would do it. What ever it takes, I would do it. I'd do anything for you…
you're priceless.
He was so… different. Not like anyone she had ever met; not like anyone
else in the world, the way he chose his own path and went for it, uncaring
for anyone else. He'd care about me… Her lips curved upwards in a
smile. Oh, he'd care for me, alright… the way I care for him. Her
voice was virtually inaudible.
"Ken Ichijouji… the Digimon Kaiser."
Gonna get a little darker
Gonna be a little bitch
Gonna make a new shade of darkness
Now my need's makin' me itch

The Kaiser watched her, that strange beguiling girl with her light crimson
eyes. So innocent, yet so adult. So strong, yet so meek. So… perfect. That
was it, her perfection. She could be his queen… his perfect Kaiserien.
Would would I have to do to make you mine? he wondered idly,
watching the destruction his creatures were creating below amongst the
Digidestineds' monsters.
She has not let Gatomon digivolve, he noted, seeing the way she
looked at him. I wonder why? Surely not… no way… I must make sure.
He left the plateau he had been standing on, cloak billowing around him, and
made his way back to his castle. Myotismon's castle, originally, of
course, but then it was so hard to find a good workforce these days. He had
better the things to do than design a brand new castle when there was a
perfectly decent one on the spot, as it were. Things like this: a gift, just
to test the water. If she was not feeling the way he thought she felt, she
would just pin it down to his darkness. If she did… well, it would indeed
be a pleasant surprise, and one in the eye for those insufferable
digi-brats.
I'm bad 'cause it's better
I'm mean 'cause it's fun
I'm darkness 'cause it's stronger
And I'm gonna wipe out the sun

It was when she opened her school locker that she found it. A rose. A
perfect red rose, each of its petals delicately sculpted in blood, hovering
in the air in the dingy interior of her locker. Besides it was a note,
written in delicate curving script: If you would be mine, take this. K. She
smiled, knowing immediately what she would do.
Hikari stretched out her hand for the rose… Her fingernails closed
around its delicate stem and she felt the jerk just behind her navel as she
was sucked into her own personal heaven.
I would be your new darkness
If you'd let me
I would create your dreams
If you'd let me
I would be your soulforce
If you'd let me
Will
you let me in?
